Katja Henttonen develops digital solutions to enhance participatory democracy, currently focusing to improve open source e-democracy platforms called Decidim and KerroKantasi. KerroKantasi is a Finnish solution for administering public hearings while internationally developed Decidim supports various ways of bottom-up citizen participation, including participatory budjeting and deliberative debates.
