Cathy Mulligan is CTO for GovTech Labs and DataNet at UCL. DataNet is a next generation infrastructure for data – designed to do for data what the internet did for communications. GovTech Labs investigates the role of AI/ML, blockchain and advanced communication technologies such as 5G in order to deliver new forms of digitally-enabled national infrastructure. Dr Mulligan has 22 years’ experience in research and industry in digital technologies and telecommunications and is the author of 7 books covering IoT, EPC and 5G.
